Do you need to pass a Transport Canada exam to obtain your Private or Commercial Pilot Licence?

An examination centre is at your disposal at Collège Air Richelieu. Collège Air Richelieu was the first flight school authorized to conduct Transport Canada theory exams (PPL) and, more recently, the only one authorized to conduct Transport Canada’s professional theory examination (CPAER).

Theory exams

By reservation, all Transport Canada theory and flight tests can be taken on site with one of Transport Canada’s authorized test supervisors (ATS).

This pathway was set up with the collaboration of Jazz Aviation to give our most deserving instructors and students (in ATPL-integrated college programs) direct access to selection interviews. A pathway with Airmedic has also been established.

Approved Training Organization

Building on its excellent reputation, Collège Air Richelieu signed an agreement with Transport Canada in 2020, certifying the college as an Approved Training Organization (ATO).
